"I came to Camp United because my friends were going, and I kept coming back because it was just that good. Every year, I’ve had a blast—whether it’s waking up early to watch the sunrise over the ocean (while dodging bats) or pushing myself to be more open during activities. But the best part? Realizing that my friends—old and new—are going through the same struggles with faith as I am. Camp isn’t just fun; it’s a place where you find your people, grow in your faith, and make memories that stick. If you’re on the fence about going, just do it. Nothing to regret."

"I sent my son to Camp United because I knew it would be an experience that stayed with him for life. I hoped it would be impactful, but I didn’t expect just how much it would shape his confidence and faith. He came back certain of what he believes and surrounded by friends who share that same foundation. As a parent, I know we only have so much time with our kids—giving them opportunities like this to connect with God is something that will guide them for years to come. Camp United is absolutely worth the time and money."

"I started leading at Camp United when my son was in middle school, wanting to mentor boys at such a pivotal stage. Year after year, I’ve watched students grow—not just in confidence but in faith. There’s something powerful about being on an island, unplugged from distractions, where kids can just be kids, have fun, and truly connect with God. I’ve seen quiet kids open up, real friendships form, and breakthrough moments happen. Yes, it’s a long weekend. Yes, you might use vacation days. But seeing lives change? Worth every minute."

There will be a number of beachfront activities like paddle boarding, kayaking,, snorkeling, swimming, and fishing along with a ton of other activities like basketball, volleyball, spike ball, hiking trails, gaga ball, disc golf, and more.
Everything. We packaged camp registration, transportation, and food all into one price. The only additional cost would be extra spending money for the snack & gift shop at camp.
You don’t have to pay all at once! After the initial $100 deposit per student, you can set up a payment schedule during the final step of registration. When selecting a payment method, choose "New Payment Method" to see your options, which include:
A payment breakdown will be displayed to help you decide. Once you select a schedule and click "Pay," payments will be automatically processed until the final deadline of June 8th.
The final payment is due Sunday, June 8, 2025. If you have not paid your full balance by June 8th and we have not heard from you, your student’s spot may be given away.
Yes! We offer scholarships on a need-to-need basis for families who cannot afford the full $499 amount. We require every family to invest what they can in their student's camp experience and then we work with you to help with the rest. To apply for financial assistance, fill out this application.
We bring a team of 30 adult leaders to camp plus additional staff to ensure student safety throughout our time at camp. Campus by the Sea also provides a team of summer program staff for supervision.
Yes! Camp United will have a registered nurse present during our session at camp. The nurse can administer medication and provide first-aid throughout the week. The nurse also has a radio on their person 24/7 in case of emergency.
No. There are limited spots for Camp United, so don't wait to register your student. If spots fill up, we will open a waiting list. If a registered student has to drop out of camp, we will begin contacting people on the waiting list on a first come, first serve basis.
We will take buses to the port in San Pedro, CA, then take a ferry to our camp on Catalina Island.
Phones are allowed, but there is no reception or wifi once we get to Campus by the Sea. The students will not be able to use their phones once we get to camp. If students need to call home, there are landline phones on the island for phone calls and emergencies.
We ask you to list three friends in the same grade on their registration form. While we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate everyone, we try very hard to put students in cabins and groups with their friends.
If your student has to back out, refunds will be granted up until the final payment is due on June 8. After June 8th, we will no longer refund your money unless we can find a student to replace your student's spot.
No. Due to the location, it's all or nothing.
